to use contraception and not rely on abortion as their means of birth control... (over half of those getting abortions admit they didn't use contraceptives in the 30 days prior to becoming pregnant.... how many didn't admit to that?)

Do you think it's possible... absent legal access to abortion... that women may actually learn how to use contraception properly (and demand their partner do the same) if they know they will not be able to kill their baby?

* Progestin arm implant is 100% effective

* Depo-Provera is 100% effective.

* An IUD is close to 100% effective.

* When taken correctly, the pill is over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy.

* When used correctly male condoms are 98% effective.
