Certainly the greatest MU moment I've personally witnessed. Everyone remembers Brad Smith running all over the place and of course the picture-perfect fake FG, but what I always remember are the incredible big plays our defense made in the 4th quarter. It was simply a perfect quarter of football. They played like a group possessed.

Another memory -- cursing Sonny Riccio just before he made that impossible throw to Sesay. From my angle just above the corner of the South End Zone, I actually thought we had botched the snap. Then pandemonium broke out. Sesay caught that pass right in front of me.

I think many of us felt that we never got everything we could out of the Brad Smith years going into 2004 and 2005. We just weren't there quite yet as a program. But that 03 game was truly a watershed moment for people of my age who were old enough to have experienced an awful lot of disappointment by that point and young enough that we weren't even alive the last time we'd beaten the Huskers.
