I have seen HS students come out as gay, change their minds and then go back over the course of a single school year. Adolescence is a very confusing time for many kids.

This does not affect me in any way and most of those kids will eventually come to a decision about themselves and live with it. My concern is when we allow impressionable children to make life-altering decisions when they are still confused about who they are. If a HS boy wants to wear a dress to school and identify as a girl let them but let's not go lopping off any body parts until they are at least in their twenties and ready to make adult decisions.
