I guarantee almost none of you know it. Regarding that 500 billions barrels of oil in the Bakken field, given our current usage of around 20 million barrels/DAY I figure that will last around 68 years. But it won't of course. And that is less than the lifetime of people born today.

One, our usage will increase with population. Two, surely not all will be economically recoverable.
Incidentally, world usage now is close to 100 million bbls/day. See why I keep saying we should NOT use our own oil while its cheap (and it is) but buy someone else's before it gets expensive.
Amazing that all the useless crap on the news media and they rarely tell us stuff we need to know.
