He is knowledgeable about foreign affairs but he adheres to the foreign policy that was set forth by the neocons in our state department that works in both parties. Even Trump couldn't get away from Rumsfeld. Pompeo is in the pro Israeli Wing of the state department and sometimes they overlap.
