they have steadily raised the price of the "gameday experience" in direct (parking, ticket, membership) and indirect (making the parking worse, cracking down on what you can do in the lots, adding restrictions in the stadium, rabid cops and Karens everywhere over-enforcing ridiculous fake "security"-based rules, and many more things) while the broadcast experience has gotten far, far better.
Not hard to see where sensible folks would go.
