If you ever listen to a post game show of Junior College Hall of Fame coach Pat Smith of the Moberly Greyhound coach after a tough game or loss he will always say he needs to coach better or it all starts with him etc.
Another interesting quote I heard him make recently. When ask about recruiting he stated he always tries to recruit offensive players because he feels it is easier to teach defense. Different philosophy than CM here as well.
