My bad, it's not Russell, it's Michael.
He is the President of ASU and is one of the top college administrators in the nation. He is extremely effective at making things happen.
I once heard a host on the top radio talk show in Arizona describe Crowe as the most powerful man in the state. Crowe is an exceptional administrator and leader. One of his minor accomplishments is the creation of a special property tax district in Tempe. All of the revenue goes to the ASU Athletic Department.
Crowe is not adverse to getting involved with difficult situations and has a history of making things happen.
