MU is quietly exploring backchannels to see who might be available this offseason. At this point it's just due diligence, not the start of a coaching search.

If they think they can make a major upgrade and steal a successful high major coach, they're going to go ahead and cash Cuonzo and move on. If they can't attract someone like that, though, they most likely stick with Cuonzo next year.
