of the players or the players as a collective whole. I think everyone agrees they gave tremendous effort and produced a good performance despite being considerably undermanned.
The complaining stems from us going nearly 12 minutes in the second half without running any offense and thus not being able to capitalize on Auburns struggles, and an indefensibly boneheaded tactical coaching decision on the final possession that gave us no chance to win and squandered such a valiant effort. We did only score 54 points, and our inability to protect the rim while our only shot blocker sat on the bench allowed them their final push past us. That part is pretty frustrating.
