our current system where your insurance basically dictates the care that you receive, anyone with a pre-existing condition would never, EVER be able to change health coverage or they would lose coverage for treatment of their condition for the rest of their life going forward.

Then the client gets price-gouged all to hell, stuck on a health plan that they can't change from.

It puts the individual in an impossible position.

tl;dr: our current system sucks all around
