the same thing happens. Surrender again?

This "every meat for himself" thing leaves you with no recourse but to surrender and move to .... a cave or a mountain top where you can be free.

THAT is the kind of life you want. No rules, do your own thing, live next-door to and animal who has no concern for his neighbors or any sort of decency.

And you can always run away. Or as you say, sell you home and move on. That's no big deal, lots of people will want to buy your home next to the pig sty. So you'll lose money, lose the home you used to like and maybe move out of a good school district because the animals next door were doing what they wanted to do, unfettered by laws, rules or any sort of decency or concern for others.
