Interesting -walked across that field summer of 2019

Took a vacation that started in Couer D' Alene, Idaho - drove to Seattle (saw Jack Flaherty and the Cards lose to the Mariners) - drove down through the state of Washington - through the state of Oregon (and on purpose, drove to Corvallis and then to Eugene - wanted to check out the Oregon State and Oregon campuses). Even though the two cities (towns) are not that far apart, Corvallis is kind of desert like and desolate - Eugene is green with surrounding mountains. And there is absolutely no comparison between the facilities of Oregon and Oregon State - made me wonder how Oregon State ever wins a recruiting battle with the Ducks.

But someone left the gate open in the Oregon State stadium - so walked out onto the field to the 50 yard line just to get a perspective.

Just to finish up this post (since I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats), spent July 4th at a small town on the coast of Oregon and saw fireworks set off on the Pacific Ocean. And finished up the week watching Jack Flaherty and the Cards lose to the Giants (although Flaherty took a no hitter into the 7th). Kind of fun - that was the year the Blues won the Stanley Cup and ran into lots of fans in Cards and Blues gear at Oracle Park.

OK - I'm done. Anyone who read this post can never get that 60 seconds of your life back again. :-)
