But, see, that plays right into what I am saying:
Based on a standardized test, your students don't grasp the subject you teach. Based on the tests that you choose to use (and possibly even prepare), your students may fare better. But that just makes you the unquestioned authority that is referenced in the my first post in this thread.
In addition to that, you spent time in a district in which 5% of your students tested at grade level in something as basic as math. So, your students at that district were presumably unlikely to grasp any subjects, much less a more challenging one like physics.
