Manchin is basically playing it up to keep his name in the news.

I give Pence credit for doing the right thing and standing up to Trump during the certification on 1/6, but Pence has been a proponent of discrimination against gays for years and years. With respect to gays, he's a hokie-level bigot. Romney, while I disagree with him on almost everything, at least has shown integrity.
