the "booer" feel better. It's not going to change coaches' decisions or approach to a game. And it's discouraging for a college kid to hear his own fans boo him. Plus, it can be used in negative recruiting. Do I think a kid is going to base his decision on a school solely on whether fans are "loyal" to the program/players? Of course not. But, trust me, college recruiters will use ANYTHING to get a recruiting advantage, including putting a school's fanbase in a bad light.
