traffic jam... far less than a gas powered vehicle.
They get good range in the summer. The air conditioners don't seem to use all that much power.
They lose range in cold weather, though... far more than on hot days.
They have seat heaters which can be used in cold weather when trying to conserve energy, rather than trying to heat the whole cabin. That might be a little uncomfortable for some, but not that big of a deal in an emergency.
I doubt that would be a likely condition for Florida hurricanes, though.
