Deion Sanders is one glib, silver-tongued, fast-talking mofo. I'm sure it's NIL related, but still, it doesn't make a lot of sense. If you're a highly-rated recruit who wants to maximize your athletic reputation, it would seem you would want to do it on a big stage, i.e. a Power Five school, not some, small, HBCU in the poorest state in the Union. How many times is Jackson State going to be on TV, much less Prime Time (pun intended) broadcasts? Plus, competing against FCS schools, there is always going to be questions about how good he is, as opposed to competing in the SEC, Big 10 etc. As Supertone said, it wouldn't be surprising to see him transfer after a year.
