that's just the kind of person he is.
I doubt Cuonzo actually did anything to help Drink with Burden (since CM can't even make "inroads" for himself), but you're right that it's nice of Drink to go out of his way to help CM's image.
(Now if only CM would put forth some effort to help himself.)
