expectations, fan support, a talented roster, and recruiting connections. When Cuonzo took over that was all gone. There is no doubt that 1) Kim did much worse than Cuonzo and 2) Cuonzo had a much harder job than Kim. But the fact that anyone can compare Cuonzo somewhat validly to Kim is the problem. Kim wasn't even a real D1 coach, was the worst hire in the modern era of college basketball across all programs, and completely destroyed MU basketball. Yes Cuonzo is better than that, but certainly not good enough.
