He was only like 6 years old when Katrina happened. They moved to Maryland, where he lived till junior year of high school. That's when he landed in Memphis. He went to Briarcrest Christian, where Michael Oher went (as depicted in "The Blind Side"). It's also where Hugh Freeze got started in coaching. Several other big-time college players have come out of there.
