2, his supposed improprieties at MU were not known at the time he left and therefore we did not put pressure on him to leave for something that was unknown.
3, the stuff that he did at Miami, that came out after he was hired at MU, plssed Alden off and was part of the short lease that I mentioned.

Maybe....maybe....Haith knew he had cheated at MU and knew he had a short leash and left before Alden could find out but that doesn't really fit.
It is an absolute known fact that Haith pressed for an extension and Alden said no. Just because you don't remember it does not mean it was not the situation.
