You did not find the NYT, Atlantic or NPR stories referencing the Steele Dossier as reputable.
If I recall there were parts of the Dossier that were incorrect and parts that were on target. AGAIN - neither the NYT, the Atlantic or NPR stood behind the claims, but merely reported such claims existed. Solid journalist orgs, like the ones to which I turn - verify sources and stories.
