A federal judge in Texas rejected a Southwest Airlines pilots union's bid to block a federal vaccine mandate that extends to commercial airline employees. Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn held that the mandate will "improve the safety of air transportation, the efficiency of Southwest's operations, and further the [collective bargaining agreement]'s goal of safe and reasonable working conditions for pilots."
