guy with the pistol shot at him. It can be logically argued that the two people that tried to take Rittenhouse's weapon away and the one with the pistol were acting in self-defense, which is probably why the guy with the pistol was never charged. If I had a pistol and I saw Rittenhouse kill two people already, I'm going to try and take Rittenhouse out before he shoots me.
