Assume that the student is correct in that:
(a) racial inequities exist that make life difficult for her;
(b) those racial inequities will persist throughout her career;
Then,
what would be required of her as a doctor is to be able to function as a medical professional throughout her day (i.e., treating patients) despite such inequities affecting her.
Failing a test is one thing: providing ****ty care to a patient because you're distracted (any reason) is another. To pretend that your distraction and subsequent failure is someone else's fault means as a doctor, you're NGMI
