I was trying to talk to a dad who's son is going elsewhere and unfortunately the band and drums were beating in front of us. I asked him if Mizzou had looked at his son and (d@mn music and drums kicked off at that time) and the one thing I heard was Mizzou angrily, over and over. I'm going to have to ask him again at a different point so I can learn but you're right and there's been bad blood. Onion Horton for years had it out for Mizzou and attempted (and succeeded) in talking kids out of taking scholarships from Mizzou. And much of his sentiment has lingered in the black community here in St. Louis.
