all about men's basketball at the time. I would argue that first season of 2014-15 was over twice as bad a job of being head coach at MU than any other season in program history. The last two years were simply spent coasting and driving the program into the ground, but it was obvious by the end of year 1 that was never going to result in anything other than historic failure.
There is no way Kim was going to be kept beyond year 3, the SEC may have started looking into kicking us out of the conference if we were that negligent about trying. It was basically 100% certain we were getting last in the SEC before the season even started in 2016-17, which of course we did in comical fashion. I'm not even sure we would have been able to field a team of more than 5 or 6 players had he come back, and there would not have been more than about 500 people in the stands each game.
