are not all from the same year they were signed to Mizzou -nor- were drafted from the same NFL draft year.
What I had posted is about Odom's first recruting class of 2016 that is now graduating to the NFL draft of 2021. So 5 got drafted and 3 more non-drafted from his 2016 class are in NFL also. In the constraints he was under, I find that fairly amazing that he did that in just a single draft class, his first even.
His remaining classes of 2017, 2018, 2019 and part of 2020 are still to come. So total numbers will need to wait.
I wasn't talking about all of Odom's commits. All those other players are now today seniors, juniors, sophomores & freshmen in college still.
For the record Onofrio holds the all-time Mizzou record for number of players drafted in a single NFL draft - it's a tie with the 1943 NFL draft. In the 1981 draft those 7 were:
(Rd 1) T Howards Richards
(Rd 2) RB James Wilder Sr.
(Rd 2) DB Eric Wright
(Rd 5) DE Wendell Ray
(Rd 6) DB Johnnie Poe
(Rd 7) DB Bill Whitaker
(Rd 7) DB Ron Fellows
