Was he the defensive coordinator during that horrendously garbage effort at the end of the season last year?
We gave up 300 rushing yards to Arkansas and Georgia last year too, so this isn't something new under Wilks
So it obviously has nothing to do with "losing players" between 2020 and 2021
They stunk something awful last year too
And the teams that are murdering this Mizzou defense?
Arkansas, Miss State, Kentucky and Tennessee are not exactly the murderer's row of the SEC
Maybe this is what happens when you hire an offensive coordinator instead of a head coach. And with Drink refusing to give up those responsibilities on the offensive side of the ball... it is easy to see why he has the worst defense in all of Div. 1 (FBS) football.
This is, in fact, the worst Mizzou defense in nearly 30 seasons.
We have to go back to before Larry Smith to see a Mizzou defense this rotten on a weekly basis.
Drink has brought us full circle back to Bob Stull level football - hell, they kinda look alike too
