what THEY BELIEVED our natural rights are.
THEY wrote them down.
THEY put them into law.
THEY in effect made them up.
And yes, i agree with them. Those SHOULD BE the rights that everyone has.
But in some places in some governments, they do not exist. Those natural rights do not exist universally. So are they natural rights at all or just the opinions of our founders of what rights SHOULD BE allocated by government to the citizens?
And there were originally twelve rights in the bill of rights. Were the two that were rejected not really rights? How is that even possible?
Were each of the ten that were passed, passed unanimously or was there some debate, disagreement and dissension as to whether people should be allowed to assemble peacefully for example?
