"KU actively engaging in the build out of B12 3.0 is just an incredibly terrible sign and there is no credible way to spin that. Sorry but we have all seen this show before and know exactly where it is headed - another decade+ stuck here. Unfortunately this time recruiting and national exposure will likely take a massive dive as a consequence and it will make our brand that much less marketable when the window reopens . . . a generation from now. How the holly hell are we supposed to talk donors into hundreds of millions of dollars of stadium upgrades to house a bad football team that doesn't even play in a power football conference? It never happens and at best we see funding for some new toilets and a new pretzel cart. Just incredibly bad news."
