program. The raising of admissions standards "within shouting distance of Harvard" with not window for the athletes strangled it to death in the last 80s and early 90s. Kiesler and some of the curators at the time like Fred Kummer were obsessed with it. So I'm not sure where your coming from on "academics." Mandatory summer school and paying for it out of your own pocket for any non-qualifier? Can you imagine that?
