last week? The same one that announced that vaccinated no longer needed to wear masks? The same one that said masks were ineffective against Covid before recommending mask mandates for everyone? The same CDC that simply stopped counting breakthrough cases when the numbers were not matching their messaging a couple weeks back?

That CDC?

The CDC has a serious messaging problem, but it is secondary to a serious honesty problem. They have chosen politics over public health too often and the public no longer believes them. Hell, their own workers don't, vaccination rate at the CDC are no better than the public at large.
