But that is irrelevant to the point he was making.

Whether or not someone is vaccinated has no bearing on any additional risk to others. Vaccinated people are just as susceptible to infection as unvaccinated people and vaccinated people are just as prone to spread the virus to other people as are unvaccinated people.

Being obese is a threat to one's health and can lead to an early death.

Having the covid virus is a threat to one's health and can lead to death.

The key difference really is that the obese person chooses to be obese, the person with covid does not choose to be infected.
