At any point in our history these vaccines, particularly the mRNA versions, would at this point in their existence be considered highly and dangerously experimental. So, have the standards all along been way too restrictive and we should be rushing vaccines to market, or is COVID far more deadly to otherwise healthy people than we actually think (and that current numbers show) making the risk of a highly experimental vaccine worth it?
