As has been discussed OU and UT appear that they will likely be forfeiting large sums of money to join the SEC. So the answer is two teams leaving doesn't blow up the contractual obligation to forfeit money.

This also poses the additional question would OU/UT pay money to get ku to join into another league covering their losses, because it may save them money in the long term contract obligations?
