water line. Woman in "customer service" didn't want to send out a tech to examine the problem and just blew me off by saying anything between the meter and the house was my responsibility and left it at that.
So I scheduled a company to come an possibly dig up the front yard to locate a break in the line for yesterday afternoon. Except Tuesday morning my wife noticed water bubbling up from the meter in the front yard.
One more call to WaterOne customer service and once again the rep tried to blow me off except I insisted talking to someone in the meter division.
They came out yesterday morning and found the meter had cracked at its base and was leaking.
Relayed this story to a friend who used to work as a WaterOne dispatcher until her husband's health issues forced an early retirement. She said the others she worked with were untrainable and would actually turn their desk phone ringers off so that she was the only one taking calls.
They absorbed a woman from the Kansas Gas Service acquisition and she pretty much slept at her desk all day. Supervisors were afraid to write her up.
Three guesses as to the issues at play.
