Yes, I know it’s subjective. But I don’t think you let a 19 year old take a group of children on a boat into the water when a tsunami is coming. He doesn’t believe the tsunami warning. He’s going anyway.

If he wants to go by himself, with the understanding that no help will be provided to him if he capsizes and drowns, that’s on him.
