Got a Nissan Frontier for my kid.

Just big enough to tow his Jeep. And does a pretty good job at it. Has the 6ft bed so it has room there. Not perfect, but much easier to park at his apartment. Once he is out of college, I'm guessing he'll be going for a full sized truck pretty quickly.
