69-21 over KU in Lawrence in the last game of the season.

Pepper Rodgers joked after the game that in the fourth quarter after a Tiger TD he flashed the peace symbol across the field to Devine and Dan returned only one half of it.

That season also included an early October blow out of a Bo Schemblecher (sp>) coached Michigan team in the "Big House" in Ann Arbor.

The final game, the Orange Bowl loss to Penn S, something like 7 interceptions (was Terry McMillian's night and Chuck Roper struggled also) and 2 fumbles. Still it was close, 10-3 if memory serves.
