Cable markets are irrelevant now. Brand names are important. Future television contracts look different than before, with Apple, Amazon and Hulu part of the equation. The very future of the NCAA itself is in question.
You may not like it, but kU basketball is a national brand name that the B1G network would be promoting the hell out of during the winter.
Listen, you can believe what you want, but I will come back here to say "I told you so" and I expect you to eat some crow with this regard. I understand hating kU and wanting them to fail and go to the AAC, but that simply won't happen.
