The issue with shooting someone, which is in most cases a criminal act, doesn't begin to compare to an auto accident.
Tell your car insurance company you intentionally rammed your car into a pole and see what happens.
Whereas shooting someone during a criminal act is a desire to do physical harm.
Why should you be required to by insurance to cover the criminal acts of others?
