unfolded and I can't say I've been thrilled . I remember Mahomes rookie season he didn't do any endorsements . He felt it would be insulting to Alex smith but also he said he needed to concentrate on establishing himself as a player before branding himself .
What I saw today was a lot of kids who have yet to even play at this level already greedily grabbing at every dollar they can get their hands on . A lot of kids who already have trouble making their grades and getting better on the field now only worrying about endorsements . A lot of sharks like Barstool Sports already circling to get their hands on this money .
I will wait for awhile to see if the initial wave calms down but it is probably only going to get worse . I had hoped that these young athletes would ease into these decisions and not lose sight of what was important . Unfortunately it appears they can only see a few quick bucks and for a lot of them this will be a huge mistake . I personally need to step away for awhile because right now it just feels dirty and grimy .
