with rich and extensive booster networks, you don't think several would have been interested in Daniel and Maclin?

I get your point that Texas may not have been an option for Daniel, but that's 1 school out of at least 20 that could have outbid us (via corporations & boosters) by a large margin.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
