See this is EXACTLY the point I always make. Regulations
don't just appear mysteriously out of nowhere to crush jobs
and money making aspirations of saintly companies. They come about in response to KNOWN problems. Now I am far from
defending every regulation that comes down the pike. the point would be for eACH and every existent or proposed regulation you need specific reasons why they don't work or are otherwise not needed or undesirable. simply waving your hands and calling them burdensome (like you and Ragliar do) is the most politically dishonest thing you can do (which is why its alwaya expected of Ragliar but not so much you)
case in point with the Florida condo- evidently there was a drainage problem that was not properly addressed- meaning the "burdnsome" regulation was ignored or faked or somehow subverted. And 100+ people are dead. EXACTLY why "burdensome" regulations come about.
I'm sorry that public safety sometime takes longer and costs more than shoddy greedy dishonest practices that you and Ragliar root for, but really thats just too phucking bad
