Military circa 2021...

What most conservatives over 40 don't understand is that the military has not been a bastion of American values for a very long time. The membership are morally bankrupt. More than you'd realize are only doing it for the college money. Many openly express dual loyalties to Mexico or a Latino street gang. Lots of those joined solely to get free combat training and take it home to Los Angeles or another majority Latino neighborhood - I knew many who were dishonorably discharged and didn't care because their real reason for joining was fulfilled.

Many soldiers are addicted to drugs. A majority spend most of their time off finding someone to have sex with. There are no qualms about having sex with other soldiers, even married ones. Officers turn a blind eye to fraternization all the time. It happens on deployment especially often. When a kid with traditional values does enlist, those values are usually beaten out of him before the end of basic and certainly before the end of his first contract.

America's military is already in full embrace of leftist cultural degeneracy, but with some extremely tenuous and mostly for-show loyalty to things like the Constitution, America's History, and its own legacy. Once more than a handful of 1-stars start running around talking about how America is institutionally racist and sexist, and watch how fast the military becomes openly hostile to whites and Christians. It's pretty much already here.
