imposes some of the limitations I proposed yesterday (as a compromise with the state legislatures). My preference is that the NCAA stands its ground, refuses to ratify the proposed NIL rules, and enforces the rules against any player/school that engages in NIL. That would mean a lot of schools becoming ineligible to compete, and those schools' states (their legislatures) could be forced to compromise. That's an extremely unlikely scenario, however.
(2) Mizzou's boosters become proactive, *organize*, and find as many wealthy donors as possible to contribute toward NIL. Perhaps some big-money donors could divert their money from the AD toward NIL, since that will be more important IMO. Otherwise, we won't be able to *recruit* or *retain* talented players.
