Sure. But here's my calculus:
In order for a civ to gain intersolar travel, they have to have the intelligence to achieve the required engineering, they have to prosper long enough to achieve the required engineering, they have to make the journey and the final and most difficult step, they have to want to stop HERE out of the vastness of the Galaxy.
The odds of all those things coming together are less than Mayweather's odds of losing on Saturday.
