hometown. He was born there and moved when he was like 3. Grew up on Macon, Georgia and not surprisingly signed with Georgia Tech before going on to play in the NBA without considering MU at all. He is on that list, but not sure I'd consider him an example of us not being able to sign in state kids. I bet there are a decent number of similar examples on that list given the way its compiled. And that is why guys like John Brown (explained below) and the Porters are not on that list. Or Larry Drew for example since he was from the kansas side of Kansas City.
